This warranty covers any defects or issues that may arise with the product during normal use. The quality of the product is beyond my expectations. I can be confident in the quality of the product by just looking at it.

Up until 2006, Cort manufactured a line of high quality guitars under the name ‘Cort Parkwood’. In 2006, Cort turned Parkwood into a brand of its own and now does not feature the Cort name or logo. This is a brand sold exclusively through big box stores such as Guitar Center. Cort continues to manufacture the Parkwood brand in South Korea although it is printed “”Handcrafted in China”” inside the guitar body. The Hybrid series coming from Indonesia.

The guitar also featured somewhat of an interesting phenomena when I tried to engage drives or distortion pedals on top of it. Basically all of the high frequencies cut out, even when I cranked the tone knobs on my pedals, it was really strange and made it so the guitar could really only be played clean. This pickups will have to be replaced, there is no getting around it.

A decorative guitar for the wall costs more but it doesn’t play, Glarry instruments with a proper set up play quite pleasantly. Also ideal for anyone who wants to start working on instruments, luthiers in training and musicians who want to learn how to set up their own instruments.

The price is cheap, and the product material, sound quality and… This cost depends on you and what expectations you may have with the Strat style GST electric guitar. My effort that I afforded the instrument is setting the string action and intonation. I did this myself at no additional cost but warn those family members considering a purchase for a loved one, you need to have it professionally setup.
